Abe Weisblack

Abe Weisblack is a long-time resident of Melville, New York, where he lives with his wife Robin and their two adult daughters. Originally from Brooklyn, Abe spent over 40 years running his clothing store, Sweats Appeal, in Plainview. He takes pride in the relationships he’s built and the legacy of hard work he’s left behind.

A lover of Motown oldies, Abe enjoys revisiting the classics while spending time with family and friends. His hobbies include exploring new restaurants, with favorites like La Parma, Franina, and The Orient topping his list. Italian cuisine is a favorite, but Abe also appreciates a variety of flavors, always eager to try something new.

While Abe is semi-retired, he still brings his community-first mindset to everything he does. He’s a fan of the New York Rangers and enjoys reminiscing about past golf games, even if he doesn’t hit the green as often as he used to. With a personal motto of “Live for today,” Abe dreams of traveling back to Israel to reconnect with his heritage and explore the country’s beauty.
