Ester Horowitz

Ester Horowitz is a powerhouse of inspiration and achievement, calling Merrick home with her husband Michael and their two children. Originally from Plainview, Ester has dedicated her life to helping others and creating opportunities for women. As the founder of the Friendship Circle, which supports over 800 women, she has made an indelible mark on her community.

Ester’s professional background includes running a virtual emergency room, blending innovation with her passion for service. In her free time, she enjoys teaching mahjong and canasta and is a former competitive bowler. Her love for dining is reflected in her favorite restaurants, like Santorinis in Merrick, where she indulges in ice cream and Mediterranean cuisine.

Ester’s personal philosophy comes from the words of Muhammad Ali: “Impossible is not a fact. It’s an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It’s a dare. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.” Her dreams include exploring Europe and visiting California for the first time, but no matter where she goes, Ester’s dedication to empowering others continues to guide her every step.
